Will vs. Be Going To — Beda Tipis, Beda Makna
Ini adalah salah satu kesalahan paling sering di ujian speaking IELTS. Keduanya bermakna "akan", tapi konteksnya berbeda.

- Keputusan dibuat saat bicara
- Prediksi tanpa bukti nyata
- Janji, tawaran, ancaman
"The phone's ringing!" → "I'll get it!" ✓
✦ Be Going To — Rencana Matang
- Rencana yang sudah diputuskan sebelumnya
- Prediksi berdasarkan bukti di depan mata
"I'm going to take the IELTS next April." ✓
(sudah daftar, sudah bayar)
Stative Verbs — Kata Kerja yang TIDAK BOLEH pakai -ing
Stative verbs menggambarkan keadaan, bukan aksi. Tidak pernah digunakan dalam bentuk continuous, bahkan jika "sedang terjadi sekarang".

* Beberapa kata bisa jadi dynamic dengan makna berbeda: "I'm thinking about you" (sedang memikirkan) vs "I think it's correct" (pendapat).
5 Kesalahan Grammar Paling Sering Dilakukan Orang Indonesia
- ✗ Salah: "She is go to the office every morning."
- ✓ Benar: "She goes to the office every morning." (habitual → V1 + s/es)
- ✗ Salah: "I am understanding the material."
- ✓ Benar: "I understand the material." (stative verb, tidak pakai -ing)
- ✗ Salah: "Yesterday, I have eaten at that restaurant."
- ✓ Benar: "Yesterday, I ate at that restaurant." (waktu jelas → Simple Past)
- ✗ Salah: "If I will have time, I'll call you."
- ✓ Benar: "If I have time, I'll call you." (If clause type 1 → present tense)
- ✗ Salah: "She has been married with him for two years."
- ✓ Benar: "She has been married to him for two years." (preposition: married TO, bukan WITH)
